S&S dental units have different types of upholstery. Which one is better? Let’s discover it!
We have mainly two kinds of upholstery in our stock: PU leather and fiber leather.
PU LEATHER
PU means polyurethane leather and doesn’t have any seams.
The big advantage of this leather is that it is easier to clean, this feature makes this one the best solution for a surgical dental unit.
We have different colors, and all of them are standard. This means that the leather is included in the price, and we can not make any customization here.
FIBER LEATHER
This type of leather has a better design thanks to the seams that improve the look!
In this case, it is an option. It is softer than the PU leather.
This type of leather has standard colors, but you can customize the seat of your dental unit by choosing between more than 200 custom colors!
UPHOLSTERY CUSTOMIZATION
An additional customization we can make on fiber leather is a custom design: we can apply the logo of your clinic or the design you like!
WHICH UPHOLSTERY TYPE IS BETTER?
If you need to clean quickly the dental unit or, as said before, you need a chair for a surgery room, PU leather is better in practical terms.
Fiber leather is better in terms of design, and it is more comfortable for the patients because it is softer.
Our customers choose 50/50 between the two types. There is no leather type better than the other one: it depends on what you like the most or on your work habits!
